The following discloses information about the paid features of MENU-PAAN. In Japan this constitutes the statutory disclosure required under Article 11 of the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions (特定商取引法).

Service soldMENU-PAAN, a multilingual menu-translation service for diners (SaaS / digital content). The billing unit is the "meal"; one unit translates up to five menu images together.
PriceThe Service has a free tier. Specific prices, translation units granted and validity periods for paid plans (period plans and top-up packs) are displayed, tax included, on the pricing pages and purchase screens within the Service.
Additional feesInternet connection and communication charges required to use the Service are borne by the customer.
Payment methodsOn the web, card payment (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, etc.) via a payment processor such as Stripe, Inc. In the iOS app, Apple in-app purchase. In all cases, card numbers and other sensitive payment details are not stored on our servers.
Payment timingPaid in full in advance at the time of purchase. All plans are one-time purchases; there are no auto-renewing subscriptions.
Delivery / provisionAvailable immediately after the payment is completed. The validity period of a period plan (a set period starting at purchase) is shown on the pricing/purchase screens; units lapse, including unused ones, when the period ends. A period plan cannot be purchased again while another is active. Units granted by a top-up pack do not expire.
Returns / cancellation / refundsAs digital content / a service, returns and refunds after provision begins are, as a rule, not accepted except where permitted by law. The Service is a distance sale; the statutory cooling-off right does not apply to distance sales under Japanese law. Details of refunds (e.g., serious service failure attributable to us, incorrect unit grants, double/erroneous charges) and of cases not eligible for refund are set out in Article 7 of the Terms of Service. Refunds for Apple in-app purchases follow Apple's policies and procedures. For refund requests, contact our contact point.
System requirementsThe web version is recommended on the latest modern browsers (Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, etc.). An internet connection is required, with JavaScript and cookies enabled. Supported OS for the iOS app is shown on its App Store page.
